Depending on the model and make. As an example, if the hard drive is accessible and user-upgradable we will be able to change or upgrade the drive. The same goes for the memory. Memory and hard drives are normally the two upgradeable components.
This is very much dependent on the repair type. Normally we start off with an assessment to determine the cause of the issue, this takes a day or two at most. Thereafter we will prepare a quote and a more formal timeline. Roughly speaking the entire journey normally takes 3-5 business days. In the very extreme case 7-14 days.

What can you expect when you book in your device?
In this phase, we first determine the cause of the issue by performing a detailed assessment. The upfront assessment fee is around R550, however, if you accept our quote for the repair we will void the assessment fee.
Once we have completed the assessment we will prepare a formal quote for the repair/upgrade of your device. This will be sent to you via email. If you accept the quote the repair process will start.
Our repair process normally starts once you have accepted our quote. This process takes about 2-3 days, depending on if we have the right parts available. Our team will however keep you updated via email. Our team does also call our customers to keep them updated.
Once we have completed the repair process our team will notify you via email if your device is ready for collection. We will also email you the invoice for payment.
Payments can be done via EFT or in-store with your card. Remember to use your invoice number as a reference when doing an EFT payment.
